Even on our relatively quiet backstreet in the Embassy area of Garden City, the honking and beeping of the Cairo traffic managed to wake us up early. The fact that we were still sort of on Bangkok time meant that sleeping in until 6:00 am was like 11:00 am for us, so for once we had Benjamin up and awake early.
