Half Moon Cay is a private cay in the Bahamas owned by Holland America Line (part of the Carnival Corporation). Last spring when I was on the Liberty, during one of my last cruises, we changed itineraries to go to Half Moon Cay. But because it’s a tender port and everything on land is run by crew from the ship, it was a hectic day and unless you were working crew, you couldn’t get off the sh ... read more

I make and teach art. The rest of the time, I travel. After Spain, England, Uganda, California and years of tour guiding, it was time for the next big adventure. Working for Carnival Cruise Lines. I signed onto my first ship in December 2006. Sevent contracts and twelve ships later and I've been around the Caribbean, Central America, Mexico, Hawaii and Alaska.
What have I put my hard-earned cruise money to? More travel! Oct - Dec 08 I travelled around South Africa. Sept 2010 I went to Fiji which had been at the top of my travel list for years. Making dreams come true!
