Our next stop was Byron Bay! This is a small town on the eastern coast which is very popular with backpackers. It is so popular in fact, we could only get one night in the hostel. So, we left Yamba very early in the morning and arrived in Byron Bay by midmorning, thereby giving us as much time in Byron Bay as possible.
