Leaving Samaipata I was completely ready to break with my penny-pinching ways and try and fly from Bolivia’s largest city, Santa Cruz, to the small town of Rurrenabaque, where I would hopefully be booking myself onto a couple of tours - both of the Pampas wetlands and of the Rainforest. Having graduated from University of Nottingham I started travelling and absolutely loved it. I did one trip around the world, then a second major trip through Latin America.
Unfortunately I'm back in the real world these days with one of those job things, but the wanderlust hasn't left and I still try to get away as often as possible.
