In addition to seeing many great sights and eating some good Pittsburgh foods, the memories I will keep are the numerous projects we worked on and the caring people we met. First, who would have expected that in one week, I could have the chance to work on projects including plumbing, electrical, drywall, plaster lath, and installing a window (not the computer software :-D ). I was nervous at the start of the week, but Dave and Jack helped me grow more confident as the week went on. Second, I had a chance to meet and work with outstanding people who care immensely about others. Not only the students I went with, but also the professionals at the Pittsburgh Project. Dave, Jack, and Jonathan give of their time and energy to help others who are less fortunate in their community. Will, Michael, Mark, and Courtney could be working in places outside of Pittsburgh, but they want to make a difference in the lives of people around them. Through the pictures and conversations, I will remember this trip for a long time to come!
