Every time I set my feet on Pittsburgh soil I feel at home. I am so thankful that I had the chance to bring my church family to see the place and the people that I love. I learn something new each time I come to the Pittsburgh Project and this time was no exception. I learned about humbly loving your neighbor and will come back to Cedar Falls with many ideas about how to make that happen in my own community. My favorite part of this week was being able to work for a homeowner and see the work that I facilitate during the summer come to fruition by the work of my own hands. It was something I haven’t been able to be a true part of for a very long time. I feel so blessed that I was able to labor and learn in such a beautiful city.

Saturday, March 21st As we depart from Pittsburgh this morning, we all can’t help but wish we could stay here another week. The week was both very long and very short.
