Today we went to Palolem beach in the south of Goa in a 4x4 we had hired for the days we would spend in Goa. During the drive south Alexia and I immediately fell in love with this tiny Indian state. It was governed by Portugal for over 400 years, until it was forcibly taken as an Indian possession in 1962. ATD, ABD and AFD are currently living in Manila, Philippines. We have so far lived in Riyadh, Osaka, Hanoi, Bucharest and Manila. Our joint journeys begun when we met each other on an early Sunday morning in Adelaide where ATD was living at the time and ABD was travelling through.
