Oh I love Varkala! Got here for some necessary beach time. What an amazing place. The restaurants and hotels line the cliff that looks down upon the beautiful beach. The water was clearer than Goa and the waves were coming in all day. Spent at least 3 hrs a day full on bodysurfing. Met up with a couple more travelers and had daily competitions to see who could go the furthest on one wave. ... read more
