We stayed in Whangaroa (fun-ga-row-ah) for 2 days. The guy at the backpackers needed some work done so for 2 hours work we got 2 nights stay and a full day on the kayaks. We worked the one day and then soaked in the hot tub. The next day we went out in the kayaks around the harbour and out to where it opened into the ocean.
