Our time for the clinic in Belle Anse was limited so we had decided to leave directly from the airport and get to Belle Anse that first night. In theory it was possible, but I began to have second thoughts when, even my co-director Guesno Mardy, who generally thinks anything is possible, was a little hesitant. Sionfonds medical expedition to Haiti is starting next week we want to use this site to share our adventures
My name is Annie Blackstone and I am the director of Sionfonds here in the U.S.. Guesno Mardy is Sionfonds' director in Haiti. Sionfonds is a registered Humanitarian aid organization in Haiti, and the US, currently we are a registered 501c3 through our affiliation with Foyer De Sion , and are in the process of acquiring our own tax exempt status separate from the orphanage.
