Vanuit Cambodja steken we met een toeristenbusje de desolate grens in Voen Kham - Dom Kralor over naar Laos. Voor de eerste keer dit jaar komen we in aanraking met corruptie: Lao beamten eisen een onofficiële stampfee van één dollar.
