Day 2 - Trip to Qld. Monday

September 29th 2008
Today we travelled from Kempsey to Ballina. We called in to visit a friend's son at Woodburn. Daniel Simpson and his wife run the Woodburn pub. We popped in to say hello and have some lunch. The scenery in this area is beautiful. The river runs beside the highway and there are many bridge crossings along the way. North of Woodburn is the sugar-cane area.
