I had many times I could have snapped photos, which I did, but this scene is representative of how cold it was with snow on the mountain, low-hanging clouds and a long highway ahead of me.

I'm just starting to thaw out and get warm again. What started out as a relaxing ride from Fairbanks to Anchorage soon turned into one of the coldest days in my ride. I don't mind riding in colder temps but after 4-5 hours of 44 to 48 degrees no matter how well you are dressed, it starts to go through you to the bone.
