Endless Summer is a 1964 film about surfers searching the coasts for the perfect wave. When I found out that there was footage of this film shot in Manu Bay, just west of Raglan I just had to go! Come on i had that poster in my room freshman year! Since we don't have classes Friday, all 8 of us headed out to Raglan for the day to get some sun and check out the black sand beaches. I am originally from San Diego, California- yeah Chula Vista! I have been going to school in Chicago for the past two and half years and I have decided to Study abroad in... drum roll please... New Zealand because its gorgeous and its warm there and the culture is really interesting. This will be quite the experience for the little chula vista girl who hasnt traveled outside the US except for mexico. This blog is to keep all my fam and friends updated on my trip so yeah enjoy! I am leaving in a week now and I am super stoked!... full info
