Globe Theatre - Gentlemans Box

These rooms were set aside for the "Upper Class" patrons of the theatre. The more central seats had the sun coming in and if you had a sun tan you were considered a peasant. The theatre was built in the "red light" district, and the priests from the Southwark Cathedral used to take their cut from the poor girls. The "ladies" used to hang out at the theatre to get their next customer.
