Iquique - ein lausiger kleiner Ort. Im Dunkeln am fruehen Morgen schlaegt einem im Bus ein widerlicher Gestank entgegen. Noch im Halbschlaf faellt es schwer, diesen einzuordnen. Sind es die Fuesse des Sitznachbarn? Oh nein, es ist Fischabfall vom nahen Hafen. Iquique selbst ist ein Urlaubsstaedtchen, Strand und Hotels gepaart mit Armenvierteln.
