After one bus, three flights and a taxi (and a couple of close shaves) we arrived in Praia do Santinho in the northern part of the isalnd of Florianopolis. Shamelessly here for the beaches, we were a little dismayed to be met by torrential down pours as we arrived at our pousada (guesthouse) at 1 am.
