Sorry for the lateness of this blog, I've been a bit lazy. Still, better late than never. Rio is an amazing city but I did manage to leave a few times. The first time was just after Brazil's thrashing of Equador when Carla and I headed to Morro de São Paulo in the Brazilian state of Bahia. We caught a flight to the city of Salvador and then a boat to the Island. We met a local who was going on ... read more
