Florianopolis is a great town in the South of Brazil. I stayed at a very cool Backpackers in Barra de Lagoa, which overlooked the beach and had a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. They also provided free surfboards and kayaks, which I made use of. Basically my Florianopolis days where spent either relaxing at the beach, surfing or kayaking.
