| 19th September 2008 alexandra | Stay with Mama Ruth at El Paraiso! - From: Colombia: Playa Blanca and Cartagena Hello, I have been to Playa Blanca twice and both times I stayed at a place at the very far end named El Paraiso. The place is run by a very sweet woman called Mama Ruth. If you ask to be let off at Mama Ruth's place, they will all know what you mean. Herprices are great and she is a fantastic cook. She showed me personally how to make her special arroz con coco! Accom is very basic (just hammocks, or you can also rent a tent). There are a few similar places strung along the beach.. |
