The reason we came to Rwanda was because we both felt very drawn to the history here, and felt that it was important to experience for ourselves what happened in the genocide of 1994, where more than 800,000 people were killed in 100 days. We are two liberally minded, non religious, officially homeless and jobless bums out to see the world! Our passports are good for a few more years and one can live for long time on Kraft Dinner - or the African and Asian equivalent!
We have decided that after 24 years and only ever leaving Canada once, it's time to jump off the deep end and travel the world. We'll hit up South America, Africa, Europe and Asia, and the plan is to just go with the flow and see and do whatever our little hearts desire! Departure is October 2007 and we'll return sometime in October 2008... full info
