A sand island and a cattle station
November 29th 2007 Fraser Island is the worlds largest sand island and is formed by two limstone rocks gathering sand according to the tides and currents. It continues to grow at a rate of 1 metre a year. We were fortunate to visit this magnificent world heritage site by means of a 4WD safari/camping trip over a two night, three day period.
