Had a fun day at Oudsthoorn ... which was full of excitement .. 1. Checked out of hotel - we only had one night here 2. Drove round residential areas of the town ... very pretty streets that just suddenly end, seems a nice residential area to live 3. Visited an Ostrich Show Farm (just before turning off to the Cango Caves). The guide was excellent, told us the history of Ostriches, explai ... read more

Hi all
I have been introduced to TravelBlog, and what a wonderful opportunity this is to share our travels to South Africa with family and friends.
I hope that I will be able to find a computer and a little bit of time, to update a few times during our holiday, and tell you about the things we are doing.
This will not mean that you get out of going through the hundreds of photos we'll have when we get back though!!! Just in case you were thinking about this!!
