Monument Plaque at Birkenau

This plaque was one of many surrounding a monument at Birkenau that depicts the suffering of the prisoners. There is a plaque in the language of every victim. There were a few British soldiers murdered here also.

Yes, we had that conversation upon boarding the train to Warsaw from Berlin.
