Uzbekistan - Khiva, Bukhara, Samarkand and Tashkent
July 13th 2007 After having left the mainly depressing, poor and wild Karakalpakstan, I went on to explore the rich historical heritage of Uzbekistan and joined the other tourists who come from all over the world to see what's left and to get an impression of past glory.
