There were lots of donkey and horse races along the beach - slightly dangerous in terms of running small children over... And perhaps it was the donkeys with which we shared the basketball court that gave me good luck :)

Ok, so I'm not actually in Issyk Kul, but it is the only place in Kyrgyzstan that the Travelblog lists, I felt like I should list it as where I am at least once.
