Finally I caught up I found a use for going to work!!! Reading my cousin's blog, evidently. =) I never wanted to leave comments before cause I was always woefully behind. We miss you, love you, and you look excellent in your pictures! I'm half-tempted to meet you out there - it looks gorgeous! I'm interested in more airplane pics =D they look amazing and I know my dad would be too. Beautiful rugs! We owe them for taking good care of you.
Nice scenery You went to some very scenic areas on this leg of the trip. The Russian history comment was interesting. In school they downplayed their WWII role, but in video games you can play a russian soldier and follow their steps from St Petersburg all the way to Berlin.
Yeah, I guess you could fall right in the water. You sort of climb over all the different sticks of metal, which are sometimes a little loose and wobbly. And they sometimes make this horrific metal on metal noise that makes you think the whole bridge is about ready to collapse... It was lots of fun :)
Nice Park I just caught up on your travel blog, yes, I am a procrastinator. Thanks for taking pics of the park. The scenery is interesting, especially the whitewater and the plankless bridge. So someone could just fall right into the water? Or do you walk sideways, straddling the slanted beams? Btw, I am subscribed now, so keep the blog posts going!
thought you'd like that pic... Yes, there are no wooden planks. I'm not completely sure why. It might be to keep the horses back or just because why waste wood or metal when it's easy to climb... no wheel-chair access though... And it's about a meter above the whitewater (I think)...
More interesting bridge Hi Christina,
Did I see correctly that the "more interesting bridge" has no wooden planks in it? Is this to keep the horses from crossing it or just because of disrepair? How high is the bridge above the white water?

No, I have no monkey, but the name is indicative of my current state of brain. After two weeks of insane researching and paper-writing, that song is about the only thing that is capable of remaining in my head and so it will just have to do for the time being.
This is the only good picture I have on this computer, so it will also just have to do. Featured are myself and my roommate's dog, Jessa.
Currently (May 2007) I am a graduate student studying anthropology (ethnology) and conflict resolution and am about to go off on a grand adventure spanning three continents. A week in Canada, ... full info
