Mount doom

Actually mount doom is the one on the right called mt ngauruhoe(the setting for mount doom in lord of the rings films) and the one on the left is called mt tongariro - we climbed inbetween these two peaks when we did the tongariro crossing -much of this area was used as mordor in lord of the rings

Hello all, I realize it has been a while since my last blog - we are all safe and well and enjoying our time in new zealand! We are now 13 hours ahead which makes phoning home quite interesting!
