After a 14 hour train journey we arrived in Chiang Mai. Spent the day wandering around the city, booked a 2 day trek for the next few days and had a massage which was very lovely as I’d insisted she be very gentle with me. Well on 14th October 2006 at 10pm I am leaving the UK for a whole 11 months!!! Very scared but also extremely exciting. This has been something I have wanted to do for a long time, but for one reason or another, it has been put off. But I am now ready to explore the world, do everything there is to do and see even more. I will attempt to keep this blog updated regularly and make you all extremely jealous with loads of photos.
