16 MARCH 2007 We finally arrived in Chiang Mai just as the sun was going down. We rang our guest house and they eventually picked us up. (having a thai sim card comes in very handy) The city is pretty and has a big moat all around the centre with fountains in. It's so much calmer than Bangkok.
