White Sands National Park

Rising from the heart of the Tularosa Basin is one of the world's greatest wonders-the glistening white sands of New Mexico. These gypsum sand dunes have engulfed 275 square miles of the Chihuahuan desert, creating the world's largest gypsum dune field.
Las Cruces

We enjoyed our time in the Las Cruces area. We stayed at Leasburg Dam State Park. The sites include a sheltered picnic table. While in the area we hiked the Leasburg Slot Canyon, visited White Sands National Park, and went to McGinn's Pistachioland.
