The Real Bridge over the River Kwae March 1st 2007 Pip and i went and visited the war Memorial and the famous Bridge over the river Kwae.
It was a very sad moment when you realised how many lives were lost during WWII to build the burmese -thai railway.

Pip and Jess are from New Zealand and are embarking on their Big O.E.(OOOOOO!!!)
Their trip Begins when they land in Singapore on the 29th of December 2006, they then will begin a 3 and 1/2 month trip over SE Asia-Singapore- malaysia-Brunei-Thailand-Cambodia.
However their trip does not end as they arrive just in time for Spring in London on the 11th of April.
