Made it to La Paz a couple of days ago after 17 or so hours of flying and two layover (1st in Fort Lauderdale, 2nd in Lima, Peru). It was colder than expected (33F at night) and the altitude is still bothering me. Getting from the airport to my hostel was an adventure itself. La Paz's terrain is not ideal for walking.
