Heineken wore official sponsors.. but of course!!

Well here I am in Australia 😊
After a crazy long flight i arrived safe and sound and a little sticky in Melbourne. Liz took me straight to her lovely little green house and introduced me to her flat mates... one of which had just been bited by a possum which she then put in a cardboard box by the back door.. whaaaaaaat??!!!!! luckily after a day or two they moved the box and it escaped.. i can now sleep a little more safely hee hee. Melbourne certainly lives up to having very changable weather patterns!! i actually saw RAIN!! on the saturday morning as we were heading off to the Australian Open.. but sure enough an hour later we had brillient blue skys and scorching heat! Saw a few really fun matches, cheering on the underdogs in what i learnt was true aussie style... the first few days have been spent getting over the tiredness from the lack of sleep from the flight (i tried and failed to sleep.. even forced myself to drink a Heineken on the journey from Dubai.. however after that there was no going back and i was plyed with another two cans by some Italian

Germans i was sitting next to, clearly impressed that a brit girl on her own had a beer in hand.. although i was watching the film Fame..) Sunday Liz and I went to visit her parents house and I sampled a yummy chichken bbq. We then set off in search of some Roos.. and sure and behold to my delight, we came across around ten just round the corner.. they stopped and starred at us bring more and more bouncing down the hill.. amazing 😊
