Our Guests are kicking us out of Melbourne tomorrow on account of the Canadian weather we've brought with us. Rain, brief sunshine, high wind, more rain, heavy rain, and the clincher that has us kicked outta here....Hail! Lisa tells me they're open to bribes...the quoted rate alas is far too high..so off we head. Our goal tomorrow is to make landfall in Lakes Entrance. Should be about a four hour drive. Today, Lisa, Kyra and I went to an Aboriginal Art Gallery that ended up being closed so we went for a drive into the countryside. We then had some lunch at Lisa and Vinnie's and the 4 of us then trekked to the Science Works Exhibition, which is like Science World in Van. Cool body testing type displays and a mystery Spy exhibit that we attempted to solve. (If I'm ever in a lazer protected room, clearly I'll be sending Kyra through as I couldn't make it 2 feet and she wizzed through at will several times. ) After that we went to Hertz to pick up my car. I discovered that Aussies don't need insurance, which means that any random crack head can now ding my car and I'm

My lovely girl!
%100 responsible for the repairs....lovely! You'd think in a country like that, that the average driver would be a little more cautios than the speed demon maniacs that populate this fine city. (even Lisa has a foot made of lead, and she claims she never drove in Vancouver)
Kyra's unlocking the mysteries of Crash Bandicoot on the play-station at the moment as we make plans to possibly head to the casino area for some Bowling/Dinner/last night in Melbourne fun. Vinnie's mapping out the escape route for me as I type random thoughts. Anyone randomly coming across my travelblog with pets should seriously consider Blue Dog pet food products as we've spent 3 days in a tiny home with 2 cats and a dog with a COMPLETE lack of animal smell. Very healthy animals with gorgeous coats.
Well, that's all for now, try to add another with a photo or two in the next couple of days.
Ryan and Kyra.
