So we headed of to Waitomo home of the glow work caves which are really interesting and definitely worth the visit you are in pitch black in some parts and only the glow worms like it up its just like stars from the night sky amazing.
The hostel we stayed at as well was classed as 5*... It was not 5* no way but still really nice we had made friends and we all shared a room together which was great to no longer worry about who may be in the room if they could be trusted. We had a bottle of wine in our room and headed off to curlys bar. Curly the bar owner is clearly in need of retirement he was rude and didn't even smile at any point but we had a great night and a bit to drink. To shake off the hangover I went for a run in the morning and ran to Waitomo summit which was really good to see exhausting the amount of steps but glad I did it. New Zealand is such a great country
