Hoy he salido temprano, a las 9 ya estaba en marcha, ya que quiero llegar a Auckland antes de que lo haga el mal tiempo. Hoy hacia un viento de unos 30km/h del Norte/Noreste, o sea, que a ratos en toda la cara, a ratos de costado haciendo peligrar irse a la cuneta. Han sido 20km planos, luego una zona de colinas grandes y luego casi plano hasta el km 60. Con un par de paradas en algunas playitas para descansar o comer algo. A partir del km 60 me he metido en una serie de suburbios de Auckland, que sien ser la ciudad misma, es todo urbanizado, carreteras de 2 o 3 carriles y conductores urbanitas. Asi que he tenido que hacer unos 40 km de estos, me ha llevado mas de 3 horas, en una ocasion me he perdido pero un hindu en una gasolinera me ha dejado consultar sus mapas y con eso he llegado al hostal sin problema. Esta todo bastante lleno en el tema hostales en Auckland, hay en mi hostal mañana un grupo grande de asiaticos, asi que me tengo que salir de ahi y cambiarme a uno una calle mas abajo. Para esta noche hay aviso de tormenta severa, y mañana hara un viento de pelotas tambien. El otro tema que queria resolver era conseguir una caja para embalar la bici, vuelo en 6 dias, pero no hay que olvidar que esta la pascua que lo complica todo. Ese tema se ha resulto bien porque parece que en todos los aeropuertos de NZ venden una caja para embalar la bici por 25NZD. Asi que ire al aeropuerto en bici y una vez alli la embalo, asi paso el rato. Mañana es dia de gestiones y descanso, luego me quedan 4 dias que no se que ruta voy a hacer.

Today I left early , at 9 and was on the road, I want to get to Auckland before the storm does. Today some wind of about 30km/h North/Northeast, that means, at times headwind, sometimes endangering sidewinds. First 20km have been flat, then an area with 2 large hills and then almost flat to almost km60. Made a couple of stops in some small beaches to rest or eat something. From km 60 I've gotten in a number of suburbs of Auckland, is not the city itself, but it is all urbanized, roads with 2 or 3 lanes and urbanite drivers. So I had to do about 40 km of these, it took me over 3 hours, in on one occasion I got lost but an Indian at a petrol station has let me see some maps and with that I have come to the hostel without problem. It's all pretty full in the hostels in Auckland, in mine tomorrow a large group of Asians is coming, so I have to get out of there and change to another one street below. For tonight there's severe thunderstorm warning, and tomorrow will be crazy windy too. The other issue I wanted to solve was to get a box to pack the bike because I am flying in 6 days, but we must not forget that Easter is now and that complicates everything. This issue is already solved because it seems that in all airports in NZ sell bike boxes for 25NZD. So I will just ride to the Airport and once there I will dissasemble and pack. Tomorrow is a day of preparing next steps of the trip and resting, after that I have 4 days left, in which I have no clue what a route I will follow.
