After leaveing the south island we got the ferry across to the north island. We landed in Wellington and had a little look around as this was the 1st big city we had seen in weeks. We stayed here for a few nights then decided to leave as there wasnt much to see and do here. We headed north up the middle of the island untill we hit a place called Lake Taupo.
