A morning meeting the rellies

This morning we have been busy, up early and washing done. We then met Nicola Jeff Hanna and Jakob, they were on their way to the children's soccer and then to ballet. It was lovely of them to call in to meet us. After they left, Robyn and I drove quickly down to where Robyn works so as I could type up some of my blog. We are then going back to the house to have morning tea with Tineke and her daughter Amy and Uncle George and Aunty Beb. We then went in to town to have a quick lunch with Robyn and Leigh at the Information Centre Cafe - very nice. It was then, sadly, time to say goodbye. We have been so well looked after and spoilt. We are having a fabulous time. Robyn and Leigh, George and Beb, are beautiful people and have made us feel so welcome. This afternoon we drove from Whagarei to Thames (the base of the Coromandel Coast)

Driving, driving driving
It was quite a way, but the road was motorway for a lot of the way which was easier than all the bends.

Thames
We arrived at 5.15pm and 3 of the 6 motels were full, luckily we found somewhere to stay. We went to the workman's club for dinner
