Rotorua to Parmaston North

The day after the wedding, we had breakfast with Judy and Gregor and John and Vera and then headed south. Judy kindly gave us a key to their self-contained annex so we could stay in Parmaston North overnight.

The journey was very scenic (and included the desert road). Matt bravely let Emma drive as he had obviously eaten something that disagreed with him at the wedding, so he wasn't feeling very well (consequently we had to make a few unscheduled road-side stops along the way, much to Emma's disgust).

As it was Easter Sunday most shops and places were shut when we arrived in PN, so we dined in on takeway pizza, wedges and ice cream - authentic NZ fare.
