Today we took off from Aucland in the Am. We headed North on our way up to the top of the North Island. We headed up the Twin coast Highway and stayed in Dargaville over night. We stopped at Tawharanui Regonal park in the afternoon to do some hiking around the ocean. We saw a group of dolphins and tried to follow then to get a good picture but ended up playing cat and mouse with them winning and us being way down the beach. We walked around for a couple hours and then headed north back up the Highway. After a few hours of driving we saw a cool mountian that looked like a volcano so we took a few pictures. At the time we didn't know that there was a trail to the top so when we came closer we took a little walk. Little did we know that the trail we all mud and slippery but we made it to the top in about 20 minutes and took a few pictures. Then it was back on the road to Dargaville to stay over night.
