The Cultural Festival

I never did get back to the park again I’m sorry to say but got caught up in arranging where I was going to stay for the night which seemed infinitely more important. The next event for me was the annual Cultural Day over in the Mt Roskill. Once again this is a suburb that people would pass through without a glance and yet they hold this wonderful festival here. Mark it in your calendar if you are on your way or even if you are planning to come back. It was held nearer the city in Potters Park several years ago and I was here for the first gathering. People from place as far a field as Ethiopia , Vietnam, Zambia, Japan and more come together each year to celebrate and share their culture. An amazing day!!
