For Pepijn: ornamentally carved musket from the age of the Musket Wars in New Zealand.

This is a Maori marae, where whole families/tribes gather, and after a good feast, sleep together. Very impressive wood carving.

From here on we went to the island exhibition, so instead of Maori the next stuff is Polynesean in general. This is a tapestry made from seashells.

Maybe you've seen these plants as ornamentals next to ponds in gardens before. I thought they were an invasive species here, but it turns out they're native here :)
