I have a thing for ugly yet interesting architecture. I like the human-sacrifice-Aztec-temple-style public building.

So the tallest building on the Southern Hemisphere is apparently the Sky Tower, at 328m. This is looking up at it from the Casino complex below it.

At Auckland's War Memorial museum. Nifty structure within a structure. Most of the museum isn't actually about any war however.

There was an exposition on wearable art, which is a recurring big festival in New Zealand. And it's AMAZING: http://www.aucklandmuseum.com/1838/wearableart-up-close It's not allowed to take pictures, but this glow-in-the-dark stuff was somewhere in the back :P
