The Hilton had some interesting architecture.

The marina had this...odd ship.

This was the ship that NZ used to challenge the [forgot which American club] for the American Cup with. The made the fastest single-hulled sailing ship of this size category ever. The opposition responded with a faster catamaran. Lawsuits about the spirit of the race followed.

Some interesting buildings at the waterfront combined. I liked the small shop with the grass roof the most of course.

Auckland revamped it's waterfront for the Rugby cup a few years ago. I tried to capture the weird combo of plantings, art and ongoing industry.

Auckland is know as the City of Sails, because it has about 135 000 yachts and launches (motorboats).

This is an electrical orchestra in a container. If you pull the strings on the right, a beat starts playing, and if you pull or twist the other cables the music 'morphed'. Pretty awesome.
