Robbie's departure for Ireland

After six months of crewing aboard Rewa, Robbie left for home, which involved about 40 hours of flight time and layovers. the great guys at Dolphin Bay Divers make a weekly boat trip to the nearby island of Taveuni (otherwise known as the garden island because of its rainfall and fertility) to provision and kindly offered to take him to the airport via a detour to see waterfalls and enjoy the natural water slides.

Robbie has a beautiful, caring nature, great musical (sax, guitar, vocal) and sailing skills and a sheer joy for life iand he's already missed by me (One day after his departure). I truly hope our paths intersect again as he's one of those gems you encounter infrequently and whose approach to life mirrors your own in so many ways that you recognize them as one of your own tribe on first meeting. I honour your free spirit Robbie. Safe travels my friend.
