2 issues in this small post:

(1) Halfway between Kuranda and Mareeba, in the south side of the road, there is a house with a farm, they have a hand-written sing that says "Avocardos". For just 1AUD you get the biggest avocardo you have ever seen. I send picture of mine.

(2) Nobody seem to have adopted a Koala, they are so cute but maybe you like other sort of animals. In Kuranda there is an association that offer you to adopt a bat, a very fat ugly bat, with certificate to hang it in your living room. You can contact them in this link
