Approximately 25 kilometres South of Perth, Fremantle has long been known as Western Australia’s second city. Fremantle is Western Australia's major commercial port and handles the majority of the State's imports and exports. Fremantle is a major tourist attraction for travellers from all parts of the world and attracts large numbers of residents and visitors on a daily basis. The city offers a unique blend of a lively multicultural yet relaxed lifestyle.
I like walking accross the streets of Fremantle during a Sunday afternoon. It is busy and there is often some entertaining, like some outdoors concerts. In the indoors market, you can buy some fresh fruit and vegetables. There are many restaurants along the Ocean and you can find many fish and chips. Fremantle is famous for its local beer called little creatures.
