Hey!

Drove from Byron Bay to Sydney yesterday on one of the hottest days of the year - just our luck! Arrived in one piece and so did Shelia - ended up sleeping outside a caravan park as they were closed when we arrived - how rude!! Didn;t get moved on so saved paying for a night on a campsite ; ) Have just dropped Shelia off, sad to see her go although we're looking forward to air conditioning again : ) and we're also sick of bumping our heads as she's quite small!
today is Australia Day Eve so expect there will be some festivities tonight - and it would be rude not to join in with them as we are currently staying in their wonderful country!! Just checked in to Base, we'd finally decided it was time to stay in dorms so we had booked in to one and when we arrived they upgraded us to a 8 bed girls only dorm complete with fluffy towels and shampoo and conditioner! Brucey Bonus!! Also gave us free drinks - we like this hostel think we'll be staying here for the duration of our stay in Sydney!
