This morning I decided to hop on a train down to Mandurah. It's a town about an hour south of Perth. There is a free shuttle bus from the train station to the main part of town every 20 minutes or so. I waited for the next bus and got off at the waterfront. I immediately fell in love with this place. I walked over to Dolphin quay which is where some shops and restaurants are. I had lunch at the big fish and chip place before going on a walk over to the city beach. I decided not to spend any time there and headed back to dolphin quay. I bought myself a big bottle of water and decided to hop on a boat cruise of the area for $25.

Mandurah is built on the coast and have made some canals where houses line either side. It's also a good place to spot dolphins. My boat cruise set off and we saw a couple of dolphins in the harbour swimming around. Our boat then headed down the canals. Some of the houses built in this area are amazing. Some are worth more then $10 million. There are a few empty lots which will cost you a measly $1 - 1.5 million.

The houses blew me away. This is where I want to live!!! It's so stunning here. My boat headed back to the wharf and I hopped off and walked along the foreshore which is lined with a park. I headed back to the train station on the shuttle bus and hopped back on a train to Perth. Was a really good day trip!
